Kris and Brad have been protecting Lake Huron lakefront homeowners lake access at least since I have owned for 25 years, probably longer. KB Shoring built a 182 foot sheet metal piling wall for our two neighbours and us. Kris and Brad were excellent to deal with. They were honest, professional, always picked up the phone when we called and were creative enough to overcome the inevitable road blocks you encounter when you try to do a project on a lake bank. Kris and Brad and their crews take pride in their work and take the time needed to ensure things are done right. They have been building shoreline protection for a long time – they are still building because they do good quality work, are honest and are persistent enough to get things done. They also stand behind their work.

KB Shoring did a great job from start to finish, from the first site visit, plans, material delivery and final implementation of the break-wall was effortless. They handled all the required permitting process, which required some submissions to the ABCA and then prepared, mobilized to site and delivered all the materials once approved. The construction was fairly quick, under a week to drive over 95′ of steel sheet piles, tie-backs, weld caps and complete all the backfilling and site restoration. This finally allowed us to re-construct our stairs and re-establish the beach use at the family cottage on Lake Huron. Thanks KB, you guys were great.

KB Shoring was quick, clean, professional and efficient. We had 90 feet of steel break wall installed in the spring of 2022 and couldn’t be happier. Our shoreline was being nibbled away by Lake Huron and we tried gabion baskets, rocks and other measures but finally gave in to fix the erosion problem once and for all. We are very pleased with the final wall and the crew did a fantastic job. They handled the permits, design, material delivery and installation.
